ERASMUS+ ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN MUSEUM OF WARSAW

The European project implemented by the Museum of Warsaw is entitled High-quality Empowering Adult Learning, abbreviated HEAL.

This name fully reflects the idea and content of the entire initiative, which consists of satisfying the need of implementing the educational offer for adults from disadvantaged groups, diagnosed by employees of the Museum of Warsaw, in particular migrants, seniors, people at risk or suffering from mental illness, and people with physical dysfunctions.

The main themes of the project are an inclusive museum, egalitarianism of culture and the prevention of social exclusion by overcoming economic, social and cultural barriers.

Ten people from museum staff will take part in european mobilities: a substantive course acquiring theoretical knowledge in the methodology of working with people from areas of interest and job shadowing, allowing direct observation and participation in the preparation and conducting activities in the field of education, which is planned to be included in the offer of the Museum of Warsaw.

Mobility participants will gain new knowledge and skills especially in the areas of heritage interpretation, therapy through art, kinotherapy, learning Polish as a foreign language, mental health and wellbeing.
